Terms of use

Last updated 19 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Kept Pay at keptpay.uk. By using the site you agree to them.

Who runs the site

Kept Pay is run by its founder, an individual based in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@keptpay.uk.

Estimates, not advice

The calculator gives estimates based on published HMRC rules and rates for the tax year shown. It does not know your whole situation and is not tax, financial or legal advice. Check anything important against your payslip, your tax code, GOV.UK or a qualified adviser before you act on it.

Using the site

  • Use it for your own personal or business planning.
  • Do not try to break, overload or probe the site, or get around its protections.
  • Do not use automated tools to copy large parts of the site or flood the preview image service.
  • Do not use the site to break the law or to harm others.

Share links

You are responsible for what you put in a link and who you share it with. Anyone with a link can see the settings in it.

Accuracy and availability

We update rates for each new tax year and after official changes, but there can be a delay, and we cannot promise the site is always correct, complete or available. We may change or withdraw features at any time.

Our liability

The site is free and provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from relying on its results, or for any business loss.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Content and data

The site's design, code and text belong to Kept Pay.

It contains public sector information from HMRC, the Office for National Statistics and the Bank of England, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Those sources do not endorse this site.

Other websites

We link to GOV.UK and other sites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

Changes and the law that applies

We may update these terms by changing this page. They are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. Last updated 19 October 2026.
